The DSS5140V-7 is a PNP epitaxial planar die transistor designed for low collector-emitter saturation voltage applications. It features a minimum collector-emitter breakdown voltage of -40V and a continuous collector current rating of -1A, with a peak pulse current capability of -2A. The device offers a DC current gain (hFE) of 300 minimum at 100mA and 5V, and 160 minimum at 1A and 5V.
This transistor is housed in an ultra-small SOT-563 surface-mount package, making it suitable for automated assembly and space-constrained designs. The package is molded from green molding compound and is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. The device is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
