The IXYS DSS2X121-0045B is a power Schottky rectifier module containing two independent Schottky diodes in a single SOT-227B miniBLOC package. Each diode is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 45V and an average rectified forward current of 120A (240A per device). The module features a very low forward voltage drop of 0.62V typical at 120A and 25°C, and 0.59V typical at 125°C, enabling high efficiency in low-voltage power conversion.
Designed for demanding applications, the DSS2X121-0045B offers a non-repetitive peak forward current capability of 1600A and an avalanche energy rating of 112mJ. The module provides an isolation voltage of 2500V RMS, ensuring safe operation in isolated power systems. The junction operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C, with a typical junction-to-case thermal resistance of 0.4 K/W per diode.
The module is chassis mount with M4 screw terminals and a mounting torque specification of 1.1-1.5 Nm. The package is UL registered (E 72873) and weighs approximately 30 grams.
