The IXYS DSS2X111-008A is a high-performance Schottky diode module housed in the industry-standard SOT-227B (miniBLOC) package with an isolated base plate. It features two independent diodes with very low forward voltage drop (0.84V typical, 1.04V maximum at 100A) and extremely low switching losses. The module is designed for rectifier applications in switch mode power supplies and freewheeling diodes in low voltage converters. With a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 80V and an average forward current of 125A per diode, it offers robust performance. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is 0.40 K/W, and the maximum junction temperature is 150°C. The device is RoHS compliant and meets UL 94V-0 for epoxy. Mounting torque is 1.1 to 1.5 Nm, and terminal torque is similarly specified. The module weighs 30 grams and supports a storage temperature range of -40°C to 150°C.
