The DSS2X101-02A is a high-performance Schottky diode module from IXYS, featuring two independent Schottky diodes in a single SOT-227B (miniBLOC) package. Each diode is rated for a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 200 V and an average forward current of 100 A, with a total module current of 200 A. The forward voltage is typically 0.94 V at 100 A, and the reverse current is limited to 4 mA at 200 V. The module offers a fast reverse recovery time of ≤500 ns and a low junction capacitance of 787 pF, making it suitable for high-frequency switching applications.
The module is designed for low switching losses and improved thermal behavior, with an isolation voltage of 3000 V and a thermal resistance case-to-heatsink of 0.10 K/W. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and is RoHS compliant. The SOT-227B package features a copper base plate with internal DCB isolation, is chassis mountable, and meets UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Typical applications include rectifiers in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), freewheeling diodes in low-voltage converters, and other high-frequency rectification circuits requiring low forward voltage drop and high reliability.
