The DSS2540M-7B is an NPN bipolar junction transistor designed for low saturation voltage applications. It features a collector-emitter breakdown voltage (BVCEO) greater than 40V and a continuous collector current rating of 500mA, with a peak pulse current capability of 1A. The DC current gain (hFE) is a minimum of 150 at 100mA and 2V, and the transition frequency (ft) is 300MHz.
This transistor is housed in the X1-DFN1006-3 package, a compact surface-mount package with a footprint of 0.60mm² and a height of 0.5mm, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. The package is molded plastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and has NiPdAu terminal finish. Moisture sensitivity level is 1 per J-STD-020.
The DSS2540M-7B is fully RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen- and antimony-free (Green device). It is qualified to JEDEC standards for high reliability. The part is available in tape and reel packaging with 10,000 units per reel on 8mm tape.
