The IXYS DSP25-12A is a phase-leg rectifier diode array consisting of two series-connected diodes in a single package. It is designed for line frequency rectification in single and three-phase bridge configurations. The device features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1200V, an average forward current of 28A per diode, and a forward voltage drop of 1.6V maximum at 55A. The non-repetitive peak forward current (IFSM) is 300A at 50Hz (45°C junction temperature), and the I²t rating is 450 A²s. The diode uses planar passivated chips and is standard recovery (>500ns). Thermal characteristics include a junction temperature range of -40°C to 180°C, storage temperature of -40°C to 150°C, and a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 1.5 K/W. The through-hole mounting package is TO-247AD (TO-247-3) with a weight of 6g. The epoxy molding meets UL 94V-0 flammability classification. The isolated version (AR) is UL registered.
