The IXYS DSEP29-12A is a high-performance Sonic Fast Recovery Diode designed for efficient switching and low loss in power electronics applications. It is rated with a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1200V and an average forward current (IFAV) of 30A.
This diode offers a typical forward voltage of 1.95V at 30A and 150°C, with a maximum of 2.75V under the same conditions. The reverse recovery time is typically 200ns at 125°C, enabling fast switching with reduced EMI. The device also features a low reverse leakage current of 0.5mA at 25°C and a junction capacitance of 16pF.
The DSEP29-12A is housed in a standard TO-220AC (TO-220-2) through-hole package, suitable for easy mounting on heatsinks. It is RoHS compliant and features planar passivated chips for reliable operation.
The maximum VRRM is 1200V.
The average forward current (IFAV) is 30A.
The typical reverse recovery time is 200ns at IF=30A, di/dt=600A/µs, VR=600V, and TVJ=125°C.
