The IXYS DSEI2X101-12A is a fast recovery epitaxial diode (FRED) module designed for high-efficiency power conversion applications. It features two independent diodes in a single SOT-227B (miniBLOC) package, rated for a reverse voltage of 1200V and an average forward current of 91A per diode at a case temperature of 50°C. The module offers a typical forward voltage of 1.87V at 100A and 25°C, and 1.61V at 150°C, ensuring low conduction losses.
With a typical reverse recovery time of 40ns (maximum 60ns) and soft recovery behavior, the DSEI2X101-12A minimizes switching losses and electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for high-frequency circuits. The module can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 900A and has an I²t rating of 4100 A²s for robust overcurrent capability.
