The IXYS DSEC60-12A is a high performance fast recovery diode array featuring two common cathode diodes in a single TO-247AD package. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 1200V and an average rectified current of 30A per diode. The device offers a maximum reverse recovery time of 40 ns and typical recovery times as low as 8.5 ns at 25°C. Forward voltage is typically 2.30V at 30A and 25°C, with a maximum of 2.74V at 30A. The diode employs planar passivated chips for very low leakage current and soft recovery behavior, reducing EMI/RFI. It is designed for through-hole mounting and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. Typical applications include antiparallel diodes for high frequency switching, snubber circuits, freewheeling diodes, and output rectifiers in SMPS and UPS systems.
