The IXYS DSEC60-02A is a HiPerFRED epitaxial diode array designed for high-speed switching applications. It contains two diodes in a common cathode configuration, each rated for 200V repetitive peak reverse voltage and 30A average forward current. The device offers a typical forward voltage of 1.2V at 25°C and 0.95V at 150°C, ensuring efficient operation across a wide temperature range.
With a reverse recovery time of 25 ns (measured at IF=1A, -di/dt=200A/µs), the DSEC60-02A is optimized for fast switching. It features a non-repetitive surge current rating of 325A (10ms, sine), a maximum junction temperature of 175°C, and a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 0.9 K/W. The part is housed in a TO-247AD (TO-247-3) through-hole package and weighs approximately 6 grams.
