DS90UH988RURRQ1

The Texas Instruments DS90UH988RURRQ1 is an active 4K FPD-Link IV to OpenLDI deserializer designed for automotive applications, particularly In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI). It supports FPD-Link IV LVDS input compatibility and OpenLDI output, with a color depth of 30 bits per pixel.

This deserializer boasts a parallel video bandwidth of up to 25.9 Gbps per port and a serial video bandwidth of up to 13.1 Gbps per port. Key features include daisy-chain capability, HDCP v1.4 support with on-chip keys, and low-EMI point-to-point communication. Signal conditioning includes adaptive equalization and EMI reduction. The device operates within an automotive temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.

It supports various interface speeds for FPD-Link IV, including up to 13.5 Gbps per channel and up to 27 Gbps over dual channels, with coax/STP interconnect support. The DS90UH988RURRQ1 also features an optional digital RGB parallel output interface supporting 8MHz to 125MHz PCLK and an ultra-low latency control channel. It includes two fast-mode plus I2C interfaces up to 1MHz and supports SPI and UART pass-through GPIOs.

Advanced features for robustness and diagnostics are integrated, such as Spread Spectrum Clocking Generation (SSCG) and Adaptive Receiver Equalization (AEQ). Security is enhanced with a unique ID for counterfeit protection. The device operates on a dual power supply of 1.8V and 1.15V and is housed in a 144 mm² VQFNP package suitable for surface mounting.
