The National Semiconductor DS90LV031ATM is a high-performance quad CMOS differential line driver. It is engineered to support data rates exceeding 400 Mbps (200 MHz) utilizing Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology.
This driver accepts low voltage LVTTL or LVCMOS input levels and translates them to low voltage (350 mV) differential output signals. The device features a TRI-STATE function for disabling the output stage, reducing power consumption to a typical idle state of 13 mW at 3.3V. The EN and EN* inputs provide control over the TRI-STATE outputs, common to all four drivers.
With an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the DS90LV031ATM is suitable for industrial applications. It is available in SOIC and TSSOP surface-mount packages. The typical differential skew is 0.1 ns, with a maximum of 0.4 ns, and a maximum propagation delay of 2 ns.
This component is interoperable with existing 5V LVDS devices and is compatible with IEEE 1596.3 SCI LVDS Standard and TIA/EIA-644 LVDS Standard.
