The IXYS DS75-08B is a standard recovery rectifier diode designed for high power applications. It features a repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 800V, an average forward current (IF(AV)M) of 110A at Tcase=100°C, and a low forward voltage drop of 1.17V at 150A. The diode can handle non-repetitive surge currents up to 1400A (10ms) and has an I²t rating of 9800 A²s. Reverse leakage current is a maximum of 6mA at rated voltage and junction temperature. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 180°C and has a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 0.5 K/W, enabling efficient heat sinking. The DO-203AB (DO-5) stud mount package allows for easy chassis mounting with a recommended torque of 2.4-4.5 Nm. This diode is suitable for high power rectifiers, DC motor field supplies, power supplies, and other applications requiring standard recovery performance.
