DS4560S-LO+T

The DS4560S-LO+T is a hot-plug switch designed for +12V power buses, enabling controlled power-up and current limiting. It integrates a 25mΩ n-channel MOSFET, actively managed to prevent exceeding adjustable current limits set by an external resistor on the ILIM pin.

This device offers control over the power-up output voltage ramp rate, configurable via a capacitor on the VRAMP pin. It also includes unconditional output voltage clamping to protect the load from input overvoltage stresses. An adjustable power-up timer, set by a capacitor on the TIMER pin, dictates the delay before power is applied to the load, with an option for digital logic control for device enablement.

The DS4560S-LO+T incorporates on-board thermal protection with hysteresis. If operating conditions cause the device to exceed its internal thermal limit, it will shut down and latch off, requiring a power-on reset. The component is housed in an 8-pin SO (150 mils) Pb-Free package and operates within a supply voltage range of 9.0V to 13.2V.
