Blocks of eight memory pages can be permanently write-protected or set to an EPROM-Emulation mode, where bits can only be changed from a 1 to a 0 state.

 

Key features include 200,000 write/erase cycle endurance at +25°C and backward compatibility with legacy devices. It operates over a voltage range of 4V to 5.25V at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, or 3.135V to 3.465V from 0°C to +70°C. Communication speeds are supported at 15.4kbps or 90kbps.
