The DS2780E+ is a standalone fuel gauge integrated circuit from Analog Devices, formerly Maxim Integrated, specifically designed for rechargeable Lithium Ion and Lithium Ion Polymer batteries. This IC measures voltage, temperature, and current to provide an estimated available capacity, reporting remaining charge in mAh and percentage.
