The Texas Instruments DS26LV31T is a high-speed, enhanced CMOS quad differential line driver designed to meet the requirements of TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU-T V.11. This driver operates from a 3V to 3.6V supply and is suitable for battery-powered and power-conscious applications due to its low static ICC of 100 μA MAX.
Key electrical specifications include a guaranteed VOD of 2V minimum, maximum driver skew of 2 ns, and maximum transition time of 10 ns. The device offers balanced output crossover for low EMI. It is pin-compatible with the DS26C31 and features ESD protection of ≥ 7 kV on cable I/O pins.
The DS26LV31T is available in a 16-SOIC package and operates within an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The EN and EN* inputs allow active low or active high control of the TRI-STATE outputs, which are common to all four drivers. The driver and enable inputs are compatible with low-voltage LVTTL and LVCMOS devices.
The DS26LV31TM operates between 3V and 3.6V.
It comes in a 16-SOIC surface-mount package.
The maximum driver skew is 2 nanoseconds.
The maximum transition time is 10 nanoseconds.
The ESD protection level is ≥ 7 kV.
