The Texas Instruments DS250DF230ZLSR is an active 25-Gbps enhanced multi-rate 2-channel retimer. This device offers dual-channel operation with independent channel locking from 19.6 to 25.8 Gbps, including various sub-rates. It features ultra-low latency, typically less than 500 ps for a 25.78125-Gbps data rate.

Key electrical features include adaptive continuous time linear equalization (CTLE) and continuous adaptive decision feedback equalization (DFE) capable of compensating for significant channel loss. The retimer supports 35-dB channel loss at 12.9 GHz. It also includes an on-chip eye-opening monitor (EOM), PRBS pattern checker and generator, and a low-jitter transmitter with a 3-Tap FIR filter.
