DS2502R+T&R

The Analog Devices DS2502R+T&R is a 1Kb Electrically Programmable Read-Only Memory (EPROM) designed for adding traceability and relevant information to individual systems. It utilizes a minimalist 1-Wire interface, reducing signal complexity to a single data pin and enabling communication with microprocessors at up to 16.3kb per second.

This memory device is partitioned into four 256-bit pages, allowing for random access of packetized data. Each page can be permanently write-protected to prevent tampering, and the device supports an 'add-only' memory function where new data can be programmed without disturbing existing data. Its architecture also allows for software patching by superseding old pages with newly programmed ones.

The DS2502R+T&R operates over a wide voltage range of 2.8V to 6.0V and a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, ensuring robust system performance. It requires zero standby power. The device is available in a SOT-23-3 surface mount package, suitable for various electronic applications.

Key features include a factory-lasered 64-bit registration number for absolute traceability, comprising an 8-bit family code, a 48-bit serial number, and an 8-bit CRC tester. The 1-Wire interface is compatible with other 1-Wire Net products through its built-in multidrop controller.
