It provides slew-rate control for optimized 1-Wire signal edges and programmable features to adapt to various 1-Wire slave environments. The DS2482S-100 includes programmable strong pullup capabilities for powering 1-Wire devices like EEPROMs and sensors, along with a PCTLZ output to control an external MOSFET for enhanced pullup requirements. The I2C slave address is configurable via two binary address inputs, preventing conflicts.

 

Designed for applications such as printers, medical instruments, industrial sensors, and mobile devices, the DS2482S-100 minimizes line noise and system EMI. It is available in an 8-pin SOIC package, suitable for surface-mount applications. The device operates within a voltage range of 2.9V to 5.5V and an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
