Functionally compatible with the DS21T07, the DS21T05Z integrates a regulator and nine precise-switched termination resistors. The power-down mode allows the termination resistors to be isolated from the bus, effectively removing the device from the circuit when not needed.
Designed for enhanced immunity to voltage drops on the TERMPWR line and improved high-level noise immunity, the DS21T05Z offers intrinsic TERMPWR decoupling and very low quiescent current consumption. Its design enables designers to gain the benefits of active termination in SCSI systems.
