Key features include a selectable 32-bit or 128-bit jitter attenuator, framer for locating boundaries and monitoring alarms, and an integral HDLC controller. The device supports various E1 specifications including ITU-T G.703, G.704, G.706, G.823, G.732, and I.431, as well as ETS and CTR standards. It operates from a 4.75V to 5.25V supply with a typical current draw of 75mA.

 

The DS21554LN+ is housed in a 100-pin LQFP package measuring 14mm x 14mm, suitable for surface mount applications.
