DS18B20Z+T&R

The DS18B20Z+T&R from Analog Devices is a digital thermometer offering precise temperature measurements from -55°C to +125°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C within the -10°C to +85°C range. It utilizes the unique 1-Wire bus interface, requiring only a single data line for communication with a central microprocessor, which can significantly reduce component count and simplify system design.

This sensor supports programmable resolution from 9 to 12 bits and can operate with a voltage range of 3V to 5.5V. A notable feature is its parasitic power mode, allowing it to derive power directly from the data line, thus eliminating the need for an external power supply and requiring only two pins for operation (DQ and GND). Each DS18B20 device possesses a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple sensors to coexist on the same 1-Wire bus, making it ideal for distributed temperature-sensing applications.

The DS18B20Z+T&R is available in an 8-SOIC package, designed for surface mounting. Its integrated temperature sensor and EEPROM reduce the need for external components.
