DS18B20U+

The DS18B20U+ is a digital thermometer IC from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated that provides 9-bit to 12-bit Celsius temperature measurements. It features a unique 1-Wire interface, requiring only one data line and ground for communication, and can operate in a parasitic power mode, eliminating the need for an external power supply.

This sensor measures temperatures from -55°C to +125°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C from -10°C to +85°C. Its programmable resolution allows for flexibility in measurement precision. The DS18B20U+ includes an alarm function with nonvolatile user-programmable upper and lower trigger points, simplifying the identification of temperatures outside programmed limits.

Designed for surface mounting, the DS18B20U+ is available in an 8-pin uMAX/uSOP package. Its unique 64-bit serial code allows multiple sensors to be connected on the same 1-Wire bus, making it suitable for distributed temperature-sensing applications.
