The DS18B20-SL+T&R from Analog Devices is a digital thermometer capable of measuring temperatures from -55°C to +125°C with a high accuracy of ±0.5°C between -10°C and +85°C. It features a programmable resolution from 9 to 12 bits, allowing for flexibility in measurement precision.
This sensor communicates via a single 1-Wire bus, simplifying wiring and reducing component count. It supports parasitic power mode, requiring only two pins for operation. Each DS18B20 device possesses a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple sensors to be connected on the same bus for distributed temperature sensing applications.
