DS1818R-5-U

The DS1818R-5-U is a supervisor integrated circuit designed by Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated to improve processor reliability. It features a precise, temperature-compensated voltage monitor for automated power-fail detection, ensuring the processor restarts correctly after a power failure. The device maintains a reset for approximately 150ms after VCC returns to tolerance, allowing for processor stabilization.

Key electrical specifications include a fixed 3.06V reset threshold and an active-low reset output. The output is open-drain with an internal 5.5kΩ pull-up resistor, contributing to power and space savings with a maximum quiescent current of 35µA.
