DS1813R-10+TR

The DS1813R-10+TR is an EconoReset supervisor integrated circuit from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It utilizes a precision temperature reference and comparator circuit to monitor the power supply (VCC) status. When an out-of-tolerance condition is detected, it generates an internal power-fail signal that forces a reset to the active state. The reset signal is maintained for approximately 150ms after VCC returns to an in-tolerance condition, allowing the power supply and processor to stabilize.

This supervisor also includes functionality to monitor a pushbutton on the reset output. If the reset line is pulled low, a reset is generated upon release and held active for typically 150ms. The DS1813R-10+TR features an efficient open-drain output with an internal 5.5kΩ pullup resistor. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in both low-cost TO-92 and space-saving SOT-23 surface-mount packages.

This component reduces the need for discrete components in power supply monitoring and reset circuits. Its precision voltage reference and sensor ensure reliable operation. The open-drain output allows for flexible integration into various system designs.
