DS1813R-10+T&R

The DS1813R-10+T&R is an EconoReset supervisor integrated circuit from Analog Devices, also known as Maxim Integrated. It utilizes a precision temperature reference and comparator circuit to monitor power supply status (VCC). When an out-of-tolerance condition is detected, it generates an internal power-fail signal that forces a reset to the active state. The reset signal is maintained for approximately 150ms after VCC returns to an in-tolerance condition, allowing the power supply and processor to stabilize.

This device also supports external override via a pushbutton connected to the reset output. Pulling the reset line low for at least 1µs generates a reset, which is held active for typically 150ms after the pushbutton is released. The DS1813R-10+T&R features an open-drain or open-collector output and an internal 5.5kΩ pull-up resistor. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in a space-saving SOT-23-3 surface-mount package.

Key electrical specifications include a nominal operating voltage of 4.35V and monitoring of a single voltage. The reset function is active low, with a minimum reset timeout of 100ms. This component is designed to reduce the need for discrete components in microprocessor-based systems, providing automatic restart after power failure and monitoring for external override.
