The DS1775R/TR is a digital thermometer and thermostat designed for accurate temperature monitoring in various applications. It provides temperature readings via a simple 2-wire serial interface, eliminating the need for external components. The device offers a configurable resolution from 9 to 12 bits, allowing for quick detection of thermal runaway conditions.
Key features include a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and an accuracy of ±2°C. The DS1775R/TR supports a 2.7V to 5.5V power supply range and is housed in a space-conscious 5-pin SOT23 package, making it suitable for applications with limited space. It also includes an open-drain thermal alarm output (O.S.) that becomes active when a user-defined temperature threshold is exceeded.
This digital thermometer is software compatible with the DS75 2-wire thermal watchdog. Its compact size and low thermal mass enable precise thermal monitoring and control in systems such as personal computers, servers, workstations, cell phones, and other thermally-sensitive equipment.
