The DS1624 is a versatile component combining a direct-to-digital temperature sensor with 256 bytes of nonvolatile E2 memory. This integration reduces component count in designs requiring both temperature monitoring and data storage.
The temperature sensor provides accurate readings from -55°C to +125°C with a resolution of 0.0625°C. It offers ±0.5°C accuracy within the 0°C to 70°C range. The E2 memory can store user-defined information and is accessed via the same 2-wire serial interface as the temperature sensor.
Designed for ease of use, the DS1624 operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply. It is available in an 8-pin PDIP package and is suitable for through-hole mounting. The device supports features like one-shot conversion and standby mode, making it adaptable for various applications.
