The DS1621V+ from Analog Devices is a digital thermometer and thermostat designed to provide precise temperature monitoring and control for various systems. It measures temperatures from -55°C to +125°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C in the 0°C to 70°C range. The device reads temperature as a 9-bit value and converts it to a digital word in less than one second.
This sensor utilizes a user-definable, non-volatile memory for thermostatic settings, allowing for flexible configuration. The thermal alarm output, TOUT, becomes active when the temperature exceeds a user-defined threshold (TH) and resets when it drops below a lower threshold (TL), enabling hysteresis.
