DS125DF410SQ/NOPB

The Texas Instruments DS125DF410SQ/NOPB is a high-performance quad channel retimer designed for demanding interface applications. It supports independent channel locking to data rates ranging from 9.8 to 12.5 Gbps and their submultiples, with fast lock operation based on protocol-select mode.

Key electrical features include adaptive equalization up to 34-dB boost at 5 GHz, adjustable transmit voltage output differential (VOD) from 600 to 1300 mVp-p, and adjustable transmit de-emphasis up to -15 dB. The device offers low latency of approximately 300 ps and typical power dissipation of 180 mW per channel for EQ+DFE+CDR+DE functions. It operates from a single 2.5-V ± 5% power supply.

This retimer is suitable for protocols such as 10G-SR/LR, 40G-SR4/LR4, CPRI, Infiniband, and Interlaken. It is available in a 48-WQFN (7x7 mm) package and is designed for surface mount applications. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.

Configuration and control can be managed via SMBus/EEPROM, and the device includes features like input signal detection, CDR lock detection/indicator, and an on-chip eye monitor (EOM) with a PRBS generator.
