DS1244Y-70+

The DS1244Y-70+ by Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated is a 256K NV SRAM with a Phantom Clock, organized as 32K words by 8 bits. It includes a built-in real-time clock that keeps track of seconds, minutes, hours, days, date, months, and years, with automatic leap year compensation valid up to 2100. The device features embedded lithium energy cell for calendar operation and data retention, offering over 10 years of data retention in the absence of power.

This Real Time Clock operates with a voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and has an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. It utilizes a parallel interface for communication and consumes approximately 10mA at 5V. The DS1244Y-70+ supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, as well as YY-MM-DD-dd date format.

Packaged in a 28-pin EDIP through-hole mount, this component is suitable for various embedded systems requiring accurate timekeeping and non-volatile data storage. The PowerCap module option is also available for surface mounting, requiring a separate PowerCap.
