The DS1233 EconoReset from Dallas Semiconductor is a supervisor integrated circuit designed to monitor critical power supply conditions for microprocessors. It automatically restarts the microprocessor after a power failure and monitors a pushbutton for external override control. The internal circuitry debounces the pushbutton switch.
This IC maintains reset for approximately 350ms after VCC returns to an in-tolerance condition or after the pushbutton is released. It offers accurate 5%, 10%, or 15% microprocessor 5V power supply monitoring, reducing the need for discrete components. The DS1233 features a precision temperature-compensated voltage reference and sensor, with an internal 5k pull-up resistor.
