DS1232LPS-2+T&R

The DS1232LPS-2+T&R from Analog Devices is a low-power MicroMonitor chip that oversees critical microprocessor conditions including power supply status, software execution, and external override signals. It provides accurate 5% or 10% power supply monitoring and automatically restarts the microprocessor after a power failure, ensuring system stability.

This supervisor chip features a quiescent current of 50 µA, making it suitable for low-power applications. It includes a pushbutton reset input with debouncing and guarantees an active reset pulse width of at least 250 ms. The watchdog timer function can be set to timeout at approximately 150 ms, 600 ms, or 1.2 seconds, forcing a reset if the strobe input is not driven low.

The DS1232LPS-2+T&R is available in an 8-SOIC package, suitable for surface mounting. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C (TA) and monitors voltages at 4.37V and 4.62V. The reset output can be active high or active low, with open drain and push-pull options.
