The DS1216C Smartwatch RAM Socket by Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated is designed to convert standard CMOS Static RAMs into nonvolatile memory. This 600-mil-wide DIP socket features a built-in CMOS watch function, an NV RAM controller circuit, and an embedded lithium energy source.
Key electrical specifications include an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and a voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V. The socket is compatible with RAM sizes from 2K x 8 up to 512K x 8 and package sizes from 26 to 32 pins.
