DRV8350SRTVT

The DRV8350SRTVT from Texas Instruments is an active 3-phase smart gate driver with a maximum supply voltage of 102V. It is designed for applications requiring precise motor control, particularly for Brushless DC (BLDC) motors.

This device features a wide operating voltage range from 9V to 75V and offers flexible control interfaces including SPI. Key electrical characteristics include gate drive current capabilities of up to 1A peak source and 2A peak sink. The smart gate drive architecture includes adjustable slew rate control for EMI performance and VGS handshake with minimum dead-time insertion to prevent shoot-through.

Integrated protection features are built-in to enhance reliability, such as VM undervoltage lockout (UVLO), gate drive supply undervoltage (GDUV), MOSFET VDS overcurrent protection (OCP), and thermal warning/shutdown (OTW/OTSD).
