Internal RAM stores haptic waveforms, and a real-time playback mode is also available.

 

Key design features include Smart-Loop architecture for efficient actuator control, automatic overdrive/braking for both ERM and LRA, automatic resonance tracking for LRA, and automatic actuator diagnostics and level calibration. The driver supports optional PWM input with 0% to 100% duty cycle control, analog input control, and a hardware trigger pin. It offers fast startup time of 0.7ms and a typical shutdown current of 1.75µA.

 

This device is compatible with Immersion TouchSense 3000 software and provides constant acceleration over supply voltage. It is suitable for haptic feedback applications in mobile devices, wearables, game controllers, and other touch-enabled systems. The 9-DSBGA package has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited) and is RoHS and REACH compliant (unverified).
