The Infineon Technologies DPS310XTSA1 is a digital barometric pressure sensor designed for portable devices. It measures both pressure and temperature with high precision, utilizing a capacitive sensing principle.
The sensor operates within a pressure range of 300 to 1200 hPa and a temperature range of -40 to 85 °C. It provides a relative accuracy of ±0.06 hPa and an absolute accuracy of ±1 hPa, with temperature accuracy of ±0.5°C. The device features a 24-bit output and supports both I2C and SPI interfaces.
With low current consumption, averaging 1.7 µA for pressure measurements and 1.5 µA for temperature measurements at a 1Hz sampling rate, the DPS310XTSA1 is ideal for battery-powered applications. It includes an internal signal processor and calibration coefficients stored in registers for accurate conversion of measurement results.
Packaged in an 8-pin LGA (2.0 mm x 2.5 mm x 1.0 mm) with a Surface Mount termination style, this sensor is suitable for board mounting. Its compact size and features make it ideal for applications such as indoor navigation, health and sports tracking, and local weather forecasting.
