DPA425R

The DPA425R from Power Integrations is part of the DPA-Switch family, offering highly integrated DC-DC conversion solutions for applications requiring 16-75 VDC input. This IC is designed for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and telecom applications, simplifying designs by eliminating up to 50 external components. It integrates a 220V high-frequency MOSFET and PWM control, along with essential fault protection.

Key electrical specifications include a wide input voltage range of 16-75 VDC and pin-selectable switching frequencies of 300/400 kHz. For forward configurations, it can deliver up to 70W of output power, while in flyback configurations, it supports up to 52W. The device operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

The DPA425R is housed in a TO-263-7C package, suitable for surface mounting and high-power applications. It includes features like built-in auto-restart for overload protection, externally programmable current limit, and line undervoltage detection meeting ETSI standards.
