DPA425PN

The DPA-Switch family, including the DPA425PN, offers highly integrated DC-DC converter solutions for applications requiring a 16-75 VDC input. This IC is designed for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Telecom applications, providing a cost-effective and space-saving alternative to traditional designs by integrating a 220V high-frequency MOSFET and PWM control.

The DPA425PN supports a wide input voltage range of 16-75 VDC. In a forward topology with a 36-75 VDC input, it can deliver a maximum output power of 70W. For flyback topologies with the same input range, the maximum output power is 52W. The device operates with pin-selectable switching frequencies of 300 kHz or 400 kHz, offering flexibility in design.

Key features include built-in auto-restart for overload protection, externally programmable current limit, and line undervoltage (UV) detection meeting ETSI standards. The DPA425PN is available in an 8-PDIP through-hole package, suitable for various mounting requirements. It also offers EcoSmart energy efficiency with extremely low no-load consumption.
