The DP20 is a high performance polarized DC input filter from Astrodyne TDI, part of the DP series. It is designed for DC input power applications requiring effective EMI suppression. The filter is rated for a continuous current of 20A at 40°C and a maximum operating voltage of 50VDC +10% (55VDC absolute maximum). It features a single-stage configuration with Y-capacitance of 2 x 0.15 µF, resulting in a typical leakage current of 1.8 mA at 250VAC, 60Hz.
The filter provides excellent common mode and differential mode insertion loss across a frequency range of 0.15 MHz to 30 MHz, with typical values up to 60 dB in both modes. It is suitable for use in high power rectifiers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), inverters, variable frequency drives (VFD), and PWM circuits.
The DP20 is housed in a chassis-mount package with quick connect (QD) tab terminations. Dimensions are 2.15" (54.61 mm) width, 4.13" (104.9 mm) length, and 1.78" (45.21 mm) height. Flange mount option is also available. The filter is designed for low profile installations.
The DP20 is rated for 20A at 40°C.
