The Panduit DNF18-250FIB-M is a fully insulated female quick disconnect terminal, part of the DNF series of nylon insulated disconnects. It is designed for 18-22 AWG wire and features a 0.250\" (6.35mm) tab width and 0.032\" (0.81mm) tab thickness, making it compatible with standard 0.250\" male quick disconnect tabs.
The terminal is constructed with a brass contact and tin plating for good conductivity and corrosion resistance. It features a serrated inner barrel that ensures a secure crimp and reliable electrical connection. The fully insulated nylon housing provides protection against short circuits and allows for safe handling. The housing material is Type 66 Nylon, and the terminal is color-coded red for easy identification of wire range.
The DNF18-250FIB-M is rated for 600V maximum voltage. It has an operating temperature range of up to 105°C per CSA standards and up to 125°C per UL standards. The mating force is specified between 27 to 32 N (6-12 lb) for initial engagement.
This terminal is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting with crimp termination. The wire strip length is 9/32 in (7.1 mm) with a tolerance of +1/32 -0. The maximum insulation diameter accepted is 0.14 in (3.6 mm). The part is available in bulk packaging (indicated by the -M suffix).
