The Panduit DNF18-250-M is a female quick disconnect terminal designed for reliable wire termination in electrical and electronic applications. It accepts 18-22 AWG stranded copper wire and features a 0.250" (6.35mm) tab width with a 0.032" (0.81mm) tab thickness. The terminal uses a crimp termination method and is insulated on the non-mating end with a red nylon housing.
This terminal is rated for a maximum voltage of 300V and an operating temperature of up to 90°C. The contact is made of brass with a tin plating, and the sleeve is also brass with tin plating. It includes a serrated termination for secure wire grip and has an insertion and withdrawal force of 6 to 12 lb. The recommended wire strip length is 7.1 mm.
The DNF18-250-M is UL listed and CSA certified. It is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting and is suitable for use with stranded copper wire only. The maximum wire insulation diameter is 3.6 mm and the minimum is 1.0 mm.
