The Panduit DNF18-250-C is a female quick disconnect terminal (receptacle) designed for use with 18-22 AWG stranded copper wire. It features a standard 0.250" (6.35mm) tab width and 0.032" (0.81mm) tab thickness, making it compatible with common male quick disconnect tabs. The terminal is insulated with a nylon housing on the non-mating end, providing protection against accidental short circuits. The red color indicates the wire size range (18-22 AWG).
The terminal uses a crimp termination method and includes a serrated termination for secure wire grip. The contact material is brass with a tin plating. The overall length is 20.57mm (0.810"). The wire strip length is 7.1mm (9/32") with a tolerance. The maximum insulation diameter is 3.6mm, and minimum is 1.0mm. The insertion and withdrawal force is 6 to 12 lbf. The maximum operating temperature is 90°C, and maximum voltage rating is 300V.
This terminal is suitable for free hanging (in-line) mounting. It is UL listed (E78522) and CSA certified (LR31212). The housing material is nylon, and the sleeve is also brass, tin plated. It is designed for stranded copper wire only. Installation tools include CT-1550, CT-1551, CT-600A, and others.
