This new generation MOSFET is designed to minimize on-state resistance yet maintain superior switching performance, making it ideal for high efficiency power management applications. Key specifications include P-Channel polarity, -20V drain-source voltage (Vdss), 4.1A continuous drain current at Ta=25°C, maximum on-resistance of 47mΩ at Vgs=-4.5V and Id=1A (typical 40mΩ), gate charge of 2.3nC typical at Vgs=4.5V, reverse transfer charge 0.4nC, input capacitance 218pF at Vds=10V, gate threshold voltage typical -0.8V at Id=250µA, and ESD rating of 3kV HBM.
Applications include battery management, load switch, and battery protection. The device utilizes LD-MOS technology with low figure of merit (RDS(on) x Qg) for efficient switching and low turn-on potential.
