The Texas Instruments DM3730CBPD100 is an active Digital Media Processor (DMSoC) based on the OMAP 3 architecture. It is equipped with an Arm Cortex-A8 core capable of operating at frequencies up to 1GHz, and also supports 300, 600, and 800-MHz NEON SIMD Coprocessor.
This processor includes a high-performance Image, Video, and Audio (IVA2.2) accelerator subsystem with an up to 800-MHz TMS320C64x+ DSP core. For graphics, it features the POWER SGX graphics accelerator, delivering up to 20 MPoly/sec and supporting OpenGLES 1.1 and 2.0, and OpenVG1.0.
Connectivity options include Ethernet, 1-Wire®, EBI/EMI, I²C, McBSP, McSPI, MMC/SD, UART, and USB (including OTG). The device operates at a voltage of 1.80V and has 384kB of on-chip RAM and 32kB of ROM.
The DM3730CBPD100 is available in a 515-WFBGA, FCBGA package and is designed for surface mount. It has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
