The DLPC350ZFF from Texas Instruments is an active DLP controller essential for the reliable operation of DLP4500 and DLP4500NIR digital micromirror devices (DMDs). This controller provides a multi-functional interface between user electronics and the DMD, enabling high-speed pattern rates and precise LED control.

Key technical specifications include a maximum display resolution of WXGA (1280x800) and a wide operating temperature range of 0 to 105°C. It supports a 1-bit binary pattern display rate of up to 4225 Hz and an 8-bit grayscale pattern rate of up to 120 Hz. The device features 64 Mb of internal RAM for pattern storage, eliminating the need for external volatile memory, and supports up to 32 MB of external parallel flash for expanded storage.

Connectivity options include one USB V1.1 slave port and two I2C ports. The DLPC350ZFF also offers 14 fully programmable GPIO signals and integrated micromirror drivers.
