The Texas Instruments DLPA3000DPFDR is a highly integrated power management IC optimized for DLP Pico Projector systems, targeting accessory applications up to several hundreds of lumens. This PMIC/LED driver supports LED projectors with up to 6A per LED, facilitated by an integrated high-efficiency buck converter. The device features low-ohmic RGB switches for sequencing red, green, and blue LEDs, and includes 10-bit programmable current per channel.
Key functionalities include the generation of DMD high-voltage supplies through two high-efficiency buck converters, and a dedicated regulating supply for timing-critical DC supplies for the DMD.
