Silicon rectifier diode designed for DC phase control applications with motor loads. The isolated mounting tab allows for common anode or common cathode connections, simplifying heat sinking. Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1000V, average forward current (IF(AV)) of 15.9A at TC = 80°C, and RMS forward current (IF(RMS)) of 25A. The forward voltage drop (VFM) is 1.6V max at 15.9A, and reverse recovery time (trr) is 4 µs typical. The diode can handle a non-repetitive surge current (IFSM) of 300A and has an I2t rating of 508 A²s. Operating junction temperature range is -40°C to 125°C, with thermal resistance (RθJC) of 2.5°C/W. The device is housed in a through-hole TO-220-3 Isolated Tab package and is RoHS compliant with glass-passivated junctions.
